Though he started as a painter in 1996, he abandoned paintbrushes and now uses any material at his disposal.  About 6 years ago, Uribe did an installation with Puma who gave him about 2,000 pairs of sneakers. He made an installation called “Human Nature,” where all the animals were made of shoelaces and sneakers, “highlighting the relationship between humans and nature” as Pablo Dona, Director of the Now Gallery, describes, “and the consequences that the development process has”
